Director of Human Resources

 

Our critical access hospital client located in Colorado seeks a dynamic Director of Human Resources. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Human Resources Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department including activities of the hiring process, including but not limited to recruiting, background, employment verifications, orientations, compensation, credential verification, employee relations, position description and job description development, personnel recordkeeping, benefit administrations and enrollment, workers compensation, HR regulatory compliance, payroll administration for HR components.

 

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be high energy, detail oriented, proactive leadership style who is innovative and creative and can hit the ground running. The Director of Human Resources must have the ability to build solid relationships and communicate with all hospital multi-disciplinary teams. The Director will take ownership and shape up the Human Resources department. The Director of Human Resources will have a comprehensive level of knowledge in employment /labor law, staffing/recruiting, organizational development, compensation, benefits, project management, policy design, strategic partnering, employee relation/diversity/EEO/AA, performance management, investigations, training, and development.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of comprehensive Human Resources experience.
  • Healthcare related experience and Critical Access Hospital experience preferred.
